Are you ready to gain practical, hands-on experience in the United States and take the next step in your career? The J-1 Traineeship Program offers young professionals the opportunity to develop their skills in an international, dynamic, and creative environment for up to 18 months.
This traineeship is ideal for candidates who already have their first professional experience or who are looking to give their career an international kick-start. The program is open to individuals with a relevant degree and at least one year of related work experience, or those with a minimum of five years of professional experience.

NOW HERE'S YOUR DREAM TRAINEESHIP

As a Sales & Project Management Trainee, you will take part in a structured learning program designed to give you broad exposure to both the commercial and technical sides of ShowTex projects. You will work closely with experienced Sales & Project Managers and technical teams, gradually building firsthand experience across the full project lifecycle.
During this traineeship, you will gain practical experience in sales development and market exploration and learn how projects are managed from the initial client inquiry and quotation process through to contract negotiation, order confirmation, and project execution. You will be actively involved in preparing quotations, supporting client communication, coordinating internal teams, and following projects from concept to completion.

The focus of this role is learning by doing. You will develop a strong understanding of how commercial strategy, technical solutions, and project management come together in a real-world environment. This traineeship offers an excellent opportunity to build valuable experience, gain insight into the North American entertainment and events market, and grow toward a long-term role within ShowTex.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal Trainee has experience in, or a strong interest in, Sales, Project management, and the Entertainment or technical industry, and is motivated to learn through hands-on experience. You are proactive, eager to take initiative, and comfortable working in a dynamic and international environment. You demonstrate strong organizational skills, pay close attention to detail, and are able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while staying on top of priorities and deadlines.

PERSONALITY AND SKILLS

• Great communication, organizational and negotiation skills, driven by a strong commercial insight.
• Quality-oriented problem-solver, who is resourceful and fast-paced.
• Always maintains an optimistic and hands-on mentality, even in stressful situations.
• Able to autonomously organize and coordinate a project, meeting the deadline set.
• Good budget control skills and capable of accurate administrative work
• Driven, eager to learn and ready to pass on knowledge
